BIRTH FLOWER COLLECTION

Birth flower collection

We love finding unique ways to mark special occasions such as birthdays and our recently launched Birth Flower collection celebrates the tradition of each month of the year, symbolised with a flower.

The gold filled necklaces feature dainty flower designs, which are hand stamped on disc pendants. We worked with an illustrator to create the unique designs, which draw inspiration from vintage flower illustrations.

An elegant card comes with each Birth Flower necklace, featuring a vintage flower illustration and details about the collection and what each flower represents.

Find your birth flower necklace here.

SUBTLE SAPPHIRE

Subtle sapphire

The recently launched birthstone collection celebrates the tradition of associating gemstones with each month of the year.

September's birthstone is sapphire - a beautiful and subtly coloured blue gemstone that is believed to symbolise purity and wisdom.

Our birthstone bracelets feature faceted gemstones for extra sparkle and are paired with a petite gold disc, that can be personalised with an initial or symbol. The birthstone and initial disc combine to create a meaningful keepsake.

MAGICAL MALACHITE

Magical Malachite

Malachite is a recent gemstone discovery of mine. This elegant opaque stone has a beautiful deep green colour, with unusual line markings that make it a very unique and exciting material to work with.

The markings mean that no piece of jewellery will be exactly the same and I've loved pairing it with gold to create these pieces.

Not only is it a beautiful stone to look at, it is also thought to have healing and transformative properties.

APRIL INSPIRATION

April inspiration

It's been a long winter and I'm excited for bright spring days, budding leaves on the trees and blooming flowers.

While I've been waiting for brighter days, I've found lots of colourful inspiration on Pinterest. I'm currently loving vibrant natural tones, magnolia flowers and greenery (did I mention it's been a long winter?!) and wondering if I can bring these colours into some new designs... watch this space.

BOTANICAL COLLECTION

Botanical Jewellery Collection

The recently launched Botanical Collection might just be my favourite yet. I'm lucky to live a short walk from Dublin's Phoenix Park and this large city park has become somewhat of a garden for my family and I.

The natural beauty within the park is a constant source of inspiration for me and the jewellery I create, and my aim with the Botanical collection was to capture this in the necklaces that make up the collection.

Each season brings with it a changed landscape in the park and the different pieces represent this: the Evergreen necklace represents the green that is always present somewhere in the park; the Dandelion necklace represents the wild beauty in summer; the Rose necklace represents the People's Garden, which blooms from spring to summer, and the personalised Botanical necklace featuring a branch full of leaves, representing spring and autumn.

These subtle botanical pieces, inspired by my love of nature, have a timeless quality and are made from durable 14k gold fill and each necklace features a disc that is individually stamped.

I hope you love it as much as I do.

JANUARY CHALLENGE

January challenge

I love the start of a new year and the planning and fresh ideas that come with it. I'm excited to be starting the second week of January with a challenge: to create a new piece of jewellery each working day for the rest of the month.

Running all parts of a small business can sometimes mean spending a lot of time on the business side of things and not nearly enough time on the design and creative side. The idea behind this challenge is to get the creative juices flowing and work on some ideas that have been in my head and design notebook for a while.

Some of these pieces will become part of a new collection, but some are simply for fun!

You can follow the challenge on Instagram, where I will be posting a photo of each new piece.
