Previously A Box For My Treasure has participated in Black Friday sales, but it wasn't sitting right with me to do that this year. A lot of my loyal customers have already done their Christmas shopping and would miss out on any discount, and the charity sector has been hit really hard during the pandemic, with a lot of their traditional fundraising activities unable to go ahead.
So, instead of a discount, I will be donating 15% of sales made during 26-30 November to the following charities:
Direct Provision Donations (supporting people in Direct Provision).
Peter McVerry Trust (supporting people experiencing homelessness).
