A Box For My Treasure has always been committed to being as sustainable a small business as possible, with a minimal impact on the environment in the production and delivery of our jewellery.
This eco commitment means that in the day-to-day operating of our business:
+ We use entirely plastic-free packaging, made from recycled materials. We also re-use packaging where possible.
+ We keep packaging waste to a minimum and package orders of multiple items in the one box, unless requested to be packaged in separate boxes.
+ We use recycled metals, where possible.
+ We regularly review suppliers, to ensure that their commitment to sustainability matches ours.
Jewellery Production:
+ The jewellery we make is timeless and made to last. We use durable materials such as sterling silver and gold fill. These materials can be reused and recycled.
+ From start to finish, each piece of jewellery is made in our studio, which keeps our footprint small.
+ We aim to source supplies from as nearby as possible and when ordering from further afield, we order in bulk to minimise our carbon footprint.
Repairs:
+ We want your jewellery to last as long as possible and offer free repairs.
