Shorter days are upon us and we're embracing cosy evenings and spending more time indoors. I'm taking inspiration and comfort from rich colours and textures - warm reds, deep greens and velvet - a little bit of luxury that is needed at this time of year.
On another note: we tend to wear less jewellery in the colder months, as all of the extra layers we have to put on can make accessorising feel like hard work. However, cold weather gives us an opportunity to wear jewellery in a different way - try bracelets and necklaces layered over knits - worn on the cuffs and over polo necks. Necklace layers sit better in fact when layered on top of material!
