Bridesmaid 'Thank You' cards

Bridesmaids are an essential part of many weddings - they help with the dress shopping, offer a helping hand where needed and keep everything calm on the big day (not to mention the hen night...).

Complimentary 'Thank you for being my bridesmaid' cards are now included with all bridesmaid jewellery purchases - one more thing to check off your to-do list and a sweet way to thank those lovely ladies who have helped you in the lead up to your wedding day.

To receive your complimentary bridesmaid thank you cards simply include your request in the 'note' area on the checkout page when placing your jewellery order.

With a summer holiday at the forefront of my mind (counting down the days!), I'm thinking about what jewellery to pack and sharing some travel tips for choosing and packing those all important accessories.

Choosing your jewellery:

  • Bring some dainty necklaces for day-to-day wear - I like to wear a single necklace during the day.
  • Layer up the individual necklaces for a more dramatic / statement look, for nights out.
  • Bring some glamorous earrings, also for nights out.
  • Include some delicate and colourful bracelets (worn stacked of course) and you're all set.
Packing your jewellery:
  • Pack individual pieces of jewellery in plastic baggies, to avoid tangling.
  • I pack my pieces together in a small purse and keep it in my carry on bag, for peace of mind.
Happy & safe travels!

After casting aside the winter layers of clothing that cold weather makes so necessary, I love the easy simplicity that comes with getting dressed in the summer months - who wants to spend ages figuring out what to wear when the sun is shining outside?

A monochromatic look is favoured by lots of style queens right now and part of its appeal to me is how easy it is to put together a look - wearing all of the same colour in one outfit means not having to figure out which colours match or patterns look good together. To offset the monochromatic look a little flash of colour is always welcome and the Green Onyx Teardrop earrings are perfect for this.

Designed with versatility in mind - these earrings can dress up an outfit with their vibrant colour, but the simple drop style means that they are not overwhelming and are light enough to wear all day and evening.

I love this time of year for many reasons - the sun is shining, holidays are booked, the flowers are in bloom and wedding season is in full swing.

I have been lucky to work with a number of brides over the last few years, to create jewellery for them and their bridesmaids to wear on their special day. Working with an excited bride is utterly infectious & it is pure joy to get to experience and share in some of their excitement and anticipation.

Most recently I worked with a bride on the bridesmaid jewellery pictured here - for a wedding last weekend. We worked together to create custom bracelets and earrings for her 3 bridesmaids: a sterling silver version of the hammered bar bracelets and coordinating earrings, which featured the hammered bars and some delicate chain, to add movement to the earrings. I love the minimal and classic approach she took in creating wearable pieces, that coordinated beautifully with the dresses.

Wishing her and all the summer brides the happiest of days!

With a company name that includes the word box, it's always been important to pay extra attention to how I package the jewellery that I make. I love packaging and details and want my customers to feel a sense of excitement when their order arrives.

The packaging has evolved over the years from hand-stamped Kraft boxes to vibrant pink ones, as well as fabric pouches.

The current packaging was launched when A Box For My Treasure rebranded in November. I wanted to create something that represented the new look and was chic and timeless, but also created a sense of excitement for customers when their order arrived. The result was gold foil embossed black boxes, with velvet lining, which offer a touch of luxury and are also perfect for storing jewellery in.
